Magic Kids; Memphis, TN

This band the Magic Kids (http://www.myspace.com/themagickids), they're from Memphis. Several of them are in Jay Reatard's backing band. They used to be the Barbaras (http://www.myspace.com/thebarbaras), and the Barbaras were good too. Both bands play 60's based sunshine pop, and they do it really well. The Barbaras released a 7" on the Goner Records label (it's hard to find now, though). The Magic Kids haven't recorded anything yet, but when they do, you're gonna have to snatch it up. You won't regret it.
